Nice looking blog.
Thanks. Let me know if you have any suggestions or if there are any topics you want us to analyze in more detail.
I’m OK with it. I have two cosiderations. Very low price and will he be a distraction in the lockeroom. He could be a cheap insurance policy. One and done at the most. He was a good player for us, for a long time. T.O. is out there too. What do you think?
I don’t think it would be a good idea to bring back Ellis. Even at a cheap price, he wouldn’t play special teams. It is true that there is a lack of depth behind Ware and Spencer, but the Cowboys may like what they have in Brandon Williams and Victor Butler. Let’s at least until after the draft to consider the decision in more detail.
As far as T.O., I know I am in the minority, but I would actually support his return. Despite what others think, Owens can still play. He can still get deep, and with Austin and Witten drawing a lot of attention, he should get much more single coverage than during his first stint here.
The question would be if he is mentally prepared to be a third option. He always behaves when he is in the first year of a deal, although that might be different since he has been in Dallas before. If he is willing to accept his role, though, I would at least think about it.
