We had Dixon as the Cowboys' fifth defensive end in our latest roster projections.

This certainly stirs the mix a little. It makes me wonder what they really think of Siavii. I’m also hearing that Lissemore has been practicing at end in OTAs. If so then that’s six bodies at DE and four at NT. Makes me wonder about the the incumbents at DE and the future of Dixon. It would seem it’s now or never for Dixon. Also Siavii may be one the hotseat. With the reports saying that this new kid could be a rotational player this year, Siavii better step it up. They must not be to pleased with Aumavae either, even though he and Price-Brent are about the same size. Our preseason games and camp might be pretty exciting. I do like the move as we may be getting a 3rd rd talent for a seventh rd pick.
BTW my only concern is that we don’t end up letting good talent leave via the cut and reclaim route. Our cuts and practice squad guys end up making other teams. I have to think Buffalo would love to have this kid or another team with equal need.
My favorite thing you said was camp and preseason games could get pretty fun. . .there are way more battles this year than any other I can remember. That usually is a bad sign for a team, but in this case, I think it is okay. Good players vs. good players=possible greatness from someone.
