Here is an awesome, in-depth look at Leonard Davis’ play against the Titans and if he deserved to get benched.  I said earlier in the week that the film was conclusive: Davis played terribly.  But, I still think he deserves to regain his starting spot due to past play.

No doubt he played terribly. As you know I questioned Davis and Gurode as pro bowlers. Problem with this is that Gurode and Columbo were really no better. We knew going into the season that the oline was suspect. Most people questioned getting rid of Flo for Free. I don’t think you or I were two of them. I will admit that I questioned not keeping Flo for backup. He would be at least equal if not better than Columbo, but that’s if and buts now. I still thinkwe need a RT in next years draft unless Young can really step up. As a parting shot, losing Phillips at TE has proved to be a biger problem than anyone foresaw.

  2. I also wanted Flo as a backup (you can probably find a multitude of articles on here about it in the archives). Uncapped year…better than the alternatives..why isn’t he here? Do we win the Washington game if he’s in at RT over Barron? Tough to tell.
