Cowboys’ Screen Passes in Vikings Game
John Coleman, a frequent visitor to DC Times, pointed out that a major reason for the Cowboys’ loss in Minnesota was that the Vikings seemed to catch on to Dallas’ screen passes. I checked the numbers, and John was exactly right. The Cowboys ran four screen passes for 51 yards in the first half on Sunday. They ran the same number in the second half for exactly zero yards. If the Cowboys want to climb out of the hole they’ve dug themselves, they need to make better adjustments, and that includes adjusting to a team that has already adjusted to you.
