Recently, I’ve asked readers to suggest Cowboys potential draft picks they’d like me to analyze.  Many of you have responded, but the names are listed all over the place.

Please post the names of players you’d like me to study in the ‘Comments’ below. Repeats are fine so I know which guys are most popular, and feel free to list as many players as you’d like.

It seems that everybody is lookin for a QB these days. I believe that the fly in the ointment(so to speak) is the Eagles. I understand CB is their big need, and Im predicting that they will trade Kolb(QB) for the rights to Peterson and the 1-7 pick in the draft. I believe that 3 or 4 teams would trade their pick for him.

I understand that Philidelphia’s big need is a CB. They could trade Kolb(QB) for the rights to Peterson(CB) straight up. Their are 3 or 4 teams selecting in the top 7 who would do that deal I think.

  3. Mark–Do you think Kolb is worth a high first? I know Philly would like that, but I don’t see a team giving up more than a late-first, two seconds, something like that.

JB–I feel that Philidelphia is the wildcard in any of the mocks I’ve looked at. With the QB draft as bad as it is, I see the eagles trading Kolb for the rights to Peterson outright. They really need a CB,and Carolina,Buffalo, San Fran, all need a QB.

  5. Mark–I sure hope not. PP would be a tremendous complement to Samuel. Let’s hope he either goes early or falls enough where Dallas can make a move of their own.

  6. Mark Sands says:

JB–On half of the mocks Ive seen Fairley and Peterson have slipped to #7 and #8. Heres the question, would you trade up to get one of them,-take Tyron Smith, or trade down, Most people ive talked to have us trading with Cleveland #1s and giving up a #2–also Cincinnati, trade #1s and giving up a #3–I still like my idea of trading with NE down for their #17 and #33 for our #9 and #109.
