This is actually Day 14, but I forgot to post yesterday. So now you get two tips today. Luckyyyy. From my book How to Dominate Your Draft:

I love to debunk fantasy football “truisms,” but the old adage that you should wait until the last round to draft a kicker is here to stay. The correlation between kickers’ fantasy points in Year Y and Year Y+1 is actually negative (that is, there is absolutely no meaningful way to predict how many fantasy points a kicker will score). Although extra points are somewhat predictable, the instability of field goal totals makes predicting kicker points a total guessing game. There is simply no way to determine how many times a kicker’s team will get into field goal position, how many of those will be “chip shots,” and so on.

Don’t draft a kicker until the last round (if you have to draft one at all). Just don’t.

You can buy How to Dominate Your Draft in KindlePDF, or paperback.
