Jeremy Schulman has been named the New York State Bar Association Lawyer of the Week. The national organization selected Mr. Schulman for his work in representing the interests of children and adults with disabilities in educational contexts prior to, during and after school, as well as for his efforts to bridge cultural divides between public schools, parents and families as well as assist parents navigate through difficult issues surrounding special education. Mr. Schulman also has served in an advisory capacity on both state and federal laws addressing educational issues affecting children with disabilities

He has been recognized as “a rising star in accounting” by the New Jersey Society of CPAs. Jeremyis a third-year junior accountant, already being looked up to by colleagues and peers alike as a leader in his field.

He is proud to join Schulman Bhattacharya as a member of their litigation practice. He will be serving clients in the areas of commercial litigation, business litigation, and intellectual property litigation throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Jeremy earned his Juris Doctor at Rutgers University School of Law, Camden, where he was inducted into Phi Alpha Delta, served as Student Bar Association President, and received a number of academic distinctions.

Schulman Bhattacharya chose him as their partner to help them to develop the firm’s website. They believed that using an online platform would allow them to pursue a more transparent way of working and make themselves more accessible to their customers. Using modern technologies, it was possible for them to create a simple yet effective design that was friendly and approachable for both English and Bengali speaking clients.

He is a former Wall Street trader and recent graduate of The Wharton School’s MBA Program. After graduating from Emory University in Atlanta, GA with a degree in Economics, Jeremy worked at two major Wall Street brokerage houses before.
